As with human funerals or services, many choose to pre-plan . If time allows, I encourage my clients to make an appointment to come to Faiwinds to explore your options, and get your plan in place. Planning ahead allows you to concentrate on your friend at their time of need, uninterrupted by details. If having a euthanasia done in the familiar and loving surroundings of home is what you would like, I have a resource list of veterinarians that can perform this service for you. Once your appointment is made at the vet office or for your home, call me and let me know the time you need me to be there for the retrieval or at the fairwinds Center to recieve the pet. If you have time beforehand, filling out the permission to cremate form and having it ready can help through the process. If there is an unexpected death, I do answer my calls 24 hours to assist you.
